SKYLINE by Baumann

THE DESIGNER Sonja Baumann was born in a small town called Rheinfelden in 1995 and grew up in Switzerland.  Her strong interest in foreign cultures and her passion for fashion was shaped early in life. She used to draw designs and talked about having her own clothing brand before the age of 10.  As she turned 21 she travelled to the USA for eight months, where she fell in love with the beautiful city on the ocean, Miami and its fast and high class lifestyle. She wanted to design clothes which would fit perfectly to the summery but also big city life. Exclusive pieces that would combine the luxury feeling with a youthful and outstanding touch. Her inspiration for the brand name SKYLINE raised, as she one day was on sea, gazing the sunset behind downtown Miami and felt completely free and stronger in her mind than ever. That moment she had the vision of SKYLINE and with every design, she wants to bring a piece of this feeling to her clientele.  "Even in the lowest points of life, I want to motivate you to keep going, you deserve to feel free, strong and special. Be confident! " A few months later in 2018, she entered the world of fashion by designing her first swimsuit. In 2020 she officially founded her brand SKYLINE by Baumann. After two years of hard work and dedication, she finally launched her first collection in January 2021. Sonja Baumann concentrated on creating an imposing collection that combines a young, fresh eye-catching style with elegance and impeccable quality thereby guaranteeing the unsurpassed level of luxury.  "The power of the feeling which comes with wearing a new exclusive design should never be underestimated. Fashion is a feeling, a statement. Its confidence." When she is not traveling for new inspiration or campaign shoots, the designer works at the company headquarters in Switzerland on new collections and manages her business.
